Our 9” barrel features a 1:5 twist.

Our .300 AAC (Blackout) barrel features our dedicated .30 caliber enhanced extension. This extension improves the reliability and cycling of multiple types of subsonic and supersonic .300 AAC ammunition, including hollow point.

For suppressed shooting, we recommend that you use a suppressor that is specifically compatible with the lower pressure of the .300 AAC cartridge. Please consult with the suppressor manufacturer for recommendations.

Dual Taper Lock system

The Dual Taper Lock system works in conjunction with our proprietary tapered barrel extension and tapered barrel. This provides a “push-pull” relationship ensuring bore centricity of the upper receiver and barrel. The main barrel nut is also compatible with MILSPEC barrels by simply reversing it.

HELIX Gas Regulating Barrel System

Our Helix Gas Regulating Barrel System integrates an adjustable control knob directly onto the barrel, allowing precise gas flow tuning for suppressed or unsuppressed setups. Built for durability, it features a robust detent system, M42 cobalt steel adjustment rod, and high-temp spring, proven through 1,500 rounds of accelerated full-auto testing with zero failures.

Expansion ring cuts

Prolonged shooting creates a lot of heat, which can be the enemy of precision. Hot metal expansion becomes irregular. The thermal expansion rings featured on our DTL-X barrel guide the barrel to expand in the direction of the bore rather than to deflect and shift MOA.

Exceptionally rigid

Thanks to the dual taper mounting system, the proprietary handguard mount delivers extreme rigidity between the upper receiver and handguard. No handguard deflection while keeping the barrel in place when exposed to extreme impacts or trauma.

Precision lapped barrel

Our heavy profile precision lapped barrels start with Premium 416-R stainless steel bars that are gun-drilled and reamed in 5R rifling and 1:8 twist with increased cycle times and frequent tool changes for tighter tolerances across the entire production run. They are then lapped to reduce tooling marks and achieve a superior bore finish. The blanks are then fully stress relieved and precision air gauged before profiling, threading, and chambering begins. Available in Black Nitride or cryogenically treated finishes.

Anti-rotation pins

Our uppers and handguards feature precision drilled pinholes for perfect monolithic-like alignment and anti-rotational rigidity.

Ambidextrous bolt release

The ambidextrous magazine release is a must-have with left-handed shooters. Ours ensures your magazine drops free easily, while the enhanced bolt catch/release increases ergonomics.

M-LOK compatible handguard

The DTL-X handguard features five sides of full-length M-LOK compatible slots, with two more slots at the front for a partial seven-sided M-LOK handguard. Combine that with our full-length picatinny top, and your accessories can be configured exactly the way you want them.

Stryker Gas Deflecting Ambidextrous Charging Handle

The gas deflecting ambidextrous design allows for multiple ways of use, no matter your shooting side or position.

45/90º selector

Its modular design lets you easily swap from a standard 90° to 45° throw simply by removing the detent pressure and rotating the drum 180° inside the lower receiver.

Single point sling mount

Billet steel low profile rear QD plate with anti-rotation limits for ambidextrous sling use.

Low profile sling mounts

The custom-cut handguard allows for the fitting of our low-profile sling mount, located on the front and rear of each side of the handguard.

Blackout Defense Bolt Carrier

Our carrier is manufactured from 8620 steel, while our shot-peened bolt is made from either 9310 or carpenter 158. The bolts are batch high pressure tested and individually magnetic particle inspected after heat-treat to ensure no microcracks.
