Rifle Accuracy Verification Specification
Accuracy Verification Conditions
Blackout Dynamics verifies rifle accuracy performance using the following test configuration and environmental conditions:
Barrel Configuration
- Barrel Length: 16 inches
- Chamber: .223 Wylde
- Twist Rate: 1:8
- Barrel Treatment: Cryogenically Treated
Ammunition
- Guerilla Ammunition .223 Remington 69 Grain Competition Load
Muzzle Device
- Blackout Defense Plan B Hybrid Short Muzzle Device
Test Distance
Environmental Conditions
- Ambient Temperature: 95°F (35°C)
- Relative Humidity: 0%
- Wind: 0 mph
Under the above conditions, the rifle system demonstrated accuracy performance of less than 1 MOA at 100 yards.
Barrel Length and Accuracy Notice
The accuracy verification result stated above applies only to the specific test configuration described herein.
Barrel length alone is not a direct determinant of mechanical accuracy. A shorter barrel may be capable of producing the same mechanical accuracy as a longer barrel when all other factors, including barrel quality, chamber dimensions, ammunition, and firearm configuration, are equivalent.
However, reducing barrel length generally decreases muzzle velocity and may alter barrel harmonics. While these changes do not necessarily reduce the rifle’s inherent mechanical accuracy, they can affect external ballistic performance, including projectile trajectory, wind drift, retained velocity, and stability under varying environmental conditions.
Accordingly, the accuracy verification result described herein is specific to the tested 16-inch barrel configuration and should not be construed as representative of the performance of barrels of different lengths. Barrels of other lengths may produce equivalent, superior, or inferior accuracy results depending on the specific firearm configuration, ammunition, and testing conditions employed.
Additional Notes
Accuracy verification was conducted using the exact barrel, ammunition, muzzle device, distance, and environmental conditions specified above. Changes to ammunition type, bullet weight, cartridge loading, barrel configuration, muzzle device, environmental conditions, optics, firearm setup, or testing methodology may produce different results.
Accuracy results obtained during verification testing are intended to document performance under controlled conditions and should not be interpreted as a guarantee of performance under all operating or field conditions.
